Whether you want to pursue an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree, there are some requirements for international students which are required by almost all colleges and universities throughout the United States. They include the following...
When applying for higher education in the U.S., international students are required to pass a test of English. Applicants can take the TOEFL(Test of English as a Foreign Language) Test or the Duolingo English Test. The test can be taken online. Taking the test just once is enough, and it can be sent to multiple colleges/universities. Both, the TOEFL and Duolingo test, are valid for two years from the test date.
Schools will ask for the latest academic records of the applicants. Whether the applicants' highest level of education is HSC or O-Levels, it will be necessary to provide the schools with the records. In many cases, the applicant may need to evaluate the records into U.S. standards.
Proof of identity is required to enroll into higher education programs. Some of the acceptable documents include Bangladesh National ID, Drivers' License, or Passport. The documents must be current(NOT expired), must have color photo of the applicant, and must have signature of the applicant. Schools may ask for more than one form of identification to verify the identity of the applicant.
